Rosemary Arnold, 88, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She was born July 15, 1934 to the late James Dennis and Lillian Hall.
She was a faithful member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rosemary was a proud graduate of South High School's class of 1952. She was an outstanding employee, working throughout her life as a laundry shirt processor, Supreme Life Insurance secretary, Wrens Tea Room cook, and a mental health switchboard operator for Clark County. While living in Seattle, she became a foster mother and maintained temporary employment until she retired at the age of 69. It was always a pleasure to be in her presence, as she would light up any room with joy, laughter, and serenity.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Francine Turner; grandchildren: Armondo (Jennifer) Turner, Delmar (Karen) Turner, Louis Hutchinson, Lucious Hutchinson, Frankie Philips, and three additional; 14 great-grandchildren; five cousins; one special cousin, James Griffin; step-son, William Arnold and granddaughter, Sparkle Eubanks; and a host of friends and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arnold; and son, Franklin Cox.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1010 Dibert Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45506. Interment: Ferncliff Cemetery.
