Raymond Crawford Kemp, Sr.

Raymond Crawford Kemp Sr., 61, of Miami, Florida passed away August 20, 2017 at Jackson North Medical Center in Miami, Florida. He was born July 4, 1956 in Clifton, Ohio, a loving son of Lloyd Raymond and Juanita L. (Blackstone) Kemp. Mr. Kemp obtained various job occupations: from 1977 1979, he was employed with Hobart (Troy, Ohio) as a machinist; 1979 1982, he was employed with Cascade (Springfield, Ohio) as a Class A Onc Machinist; 1982 1987, he was employed with Heekin Can (Cincinnati, Ohio) as a Quality Control Supervisor. Mr. Kemp was also a life-long Auto Mechanic, in which he loved restoring and finishing older model vehicles as a prized hobby. A few other hobbies of Raymonds were fishing, camping, barbecuing and after moving to Miami, Florida, he found a new love for the ocean and the horse race track. Mr. Kemp loved helping people, and people loved him. He was never afraid to take a chance in life and he lived his life to the fullest. Mr. Kemp is survived by his wife, Margarette Ann Orange-Kemp of Miami, Florida; four (4) loving and devoted children, Felicity Quwanza Kemp of Springfield, Ohio, Dejuan Gordan Kemp (Jasmine Owens) of Springfield, Ohio, Raymond Crawford Kemp Jr (Patrizia Barbato) of Columbus, Ohio and Dorian Eugene (Michelle) Channels of Santa Maria, California; two (2) brothers, Lloyd Charles Kemp and Louis Frederick Kemp both of Springfield, Ohio; four (4) step-children, Travis (Kenya) Orange, Edgar (Charmaine) Orange, Nicole Spicer and Ashley (Trevor Hawkins) Spicer; nine (9) grandchildren, ten (10) step-grandchildren, one (1) great grandchild; daughter in Christ, Joslyn Jefferson and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd R. and Juanita L. (Blackstone) Kemp; a brother, Dewitt G. Kemp; a nephew, Louis F. Kemp Jr. and best friend, Terry Maynard.
