Marie R. Maxis

Marie Rosemene Maxis, 51, of Springfield, Ohio (formerly of Haiti) passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born February 28, 1971 in Haiti, a daughter of Oriana Cherie and AntoḮs Maxis.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Jean Matelus Michel; children, Rosena (Olderson Cela), Calix Michel, Wilsonne Michel, Lixsonne Michel, and Monfils Michel; granddaughter, Hailey Cela; father, AntoḮs Maxis; sister, Jolaine Jean; brothers, Brunel Maxis and Jionis Maxis; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and brothers, Friztner Maxis and Brenor Maxis.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022 in Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Interment: Ferncliff Cemetery.
