John Lamar Mitchell is survived by his siblings including, Tyrone (Robert Snyder) Artis, from California, Marjorie Burton, from Ohio, Juan "Jay" (Sonya) Mitchell from Nevada, Shalli Mitchell-Brooks from Ohio, Hiram "Tiny" (Judy) Johnson from Tennessee. He is survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews. Preceded by his father, David Lamar Mitchell; 2 nephews, Charles "Chuckie" Hughes Jr. and Juan "Lil Jay" Mitchell; Grandparents, John and Iris Mitchell, Edith Artis Ellicott.
