Joan Henderson

Joan 'JoAnn' Henderson, 60, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. She grew up in Dayton, Ohio and was a long-time resident of Fairborn, Ohio. JoAnn was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and auntie. She was a fun-loving woman with a very strong personality. JoAnn was deeply loved and will be sincerely missed. JoAnn leaves to cherish her memory: her four children, Demakco A. Henderson, Tiajuana (Jerry) Davis, Sherorta Morris, and Billy Ray Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren, D'Angelo, Kadeem, Kadafi, Desiree, Bruce, E'Daveon, C'Amoni, and Brandon; beloved sisters, Chanda (Michael) Williams, Lucreitcia (Dion) Day, Barbara (Ronald) Rutherford, and Robertra Harrington; beloved brother, Carlos (Debra) Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances J. Henderson; sister, Annette J. Henderson; nephew, Tyree Z. Henderson; and great-nephew, Tyree Z. Henderson, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Harvest Grove Baptist Church, 3323 Highview Hills Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45417.
