James D. Green, Jr.

James D. Green, Jr., 67, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. He was born December 29, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio a son of James D. Green, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Gay) Green. He was an avid dominoes player and cherished his garage game marathons. James leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, James “Tooky” Green and Cassidy “Lee” Green; sisters, Joyce Brown of Dayton, Ohio, Deloris Thompson of Dayton, Ohio and Vickie Green of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, TJ, Semaj, Cassidy, Infinity, and Dream; loving partner, Carolyn Dover; and his close friends, Bryan Gibson, Jeff Fudge, Tone Jackson, and Tony Gay; also Marcus and Jason Thompson, who James was a father figure to and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. James will be truly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial service will be held in Dayton at a later date.
