Elizabeth Boyd

Elizabeth 'Baby Sister' Boyd, 78, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born August 31, 1940 in Lynch, Kentucky, a daughter of Lucille Mae (Carter) Boyd and Julius Boyd, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ronnie Boyd of Jacksonville, Florida and Joseph A. Boyd of Springfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ebony Berry and LaChrissa (Christopher) Davis, Jr. both of Springfield, Ohio; nine great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren; brother, Julius Boyd, Jr.; sister-in-law, Clara Boyd Williams; special niece, Theresa Ellison; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Theresa Boyd; granddaughter, LaTonya Trollinger-Boyd; sisters, Ida Mae McConnell and Dorothy Harris; and nephew, Bruce Washington. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505 with Graveside Service starting at 1:30 p.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 West McCreight Avenue, Springfield, Ohio 45504.
