Charlie “Bud” King, 81, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born July 21, 1940 in Jeffersonville, Georgia, the son of Stephen and Bessie King. Charlie accepted Christ as his personal savior at a young age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He attended Mt. Olive School. He worked as a porter at the Greyhound bus station in Cincinnati. He mostly enjoyed shadowing his dad and grandpa as a farmer, always reminiscing about riding the horse and buggy. “Bud” was great on calling you out, if you ever wore the same outfit twice. Charlie leaves to cherish in his memory his brother, Clarence Bobby (Frances Kay) King and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; James “Rock” King, Elmira Lindsey, Ellis “BO” King, Hazel Hogges and Cletia Burnett. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home and Arrangement Center.
