Charles A. Lane, Sr.

Charles Anthony "Tony" Lane, Sr., 67, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born August 10, 1954 in Springfield, a son of Jese Louise (Robert Cunningham) Lane and Charles Lane. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Arthusia Lane; children, Heather (Arlin) Gaskins and Charles Lane, Jr.; stepchildren, Tina Gilbert, Gary Gilbert, Trent Gilbert, and Audrey Gilbert; siblings, Nathaniel (Linda) Newsome, Stephen Lane, and Tina (Dwight) Evans; grandchildren, Ta'Mar Lane, Terran Lane, and Tie'Yonna Lane; a host of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Linda Haygood Newsome; and extended family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and oldest sister, Janet House. Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
