Michelle Walker, 60, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was born May 9, 1958 to the union of C.B. Walker and Virginia (Battle) Walker. She enjoyed listening to oldies music, spending time with her six grandchildren, and games such as pool, cards and basketball. Michelle worked for Wright Patt and helped families as a private duty home care provider and nanny. Michelle leaves to cherish her memory one son, Nkosi (Lisa) Walker; six grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Walker of Springfield, Ohio; four brothers, Abdul (Denise) Hafeez, Leon (Kim) Walker both of Cottage Park, Georgia, Steve Walker of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jimmy Walker of Dayton, Ohio; special niece, Kibibi White; special friends, Heather Peterson, Tammy Thigpen; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Afiya Walker. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home, 1307 E High St, Springfield, Ohio 45505 with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
