Johnnell Dewberry

Johnnell Dewberry Allen, 40, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at her residence on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was born on November 29, 1978 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Connie Nell Dewberry and John Allen. She was a life long resident of Dayton, Ohio, attended Colonel White High School and went on to work as dietary aide. Johnnell was a dedicated mother and will be forever loved by her cherished children. She loved listening to music, laughing, spending time with her children, and having fun with family and friends. Johnnell touched the lives of many people with her smile, kindered spirit, generosity, and maintained her loving spirit trademark all the way to the end. Johnnell leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Tonisha LaNet Howard, Tony Curtis Howard, Dontae Tyree Dewberry, and Jaleigha Marie Dewberry; devoted and beloved fiance, Deonta Dunbar; loving brothers, John Allen and Dennis Dewberry; loving sisters, Tonda Robinson (Jerry), Brenda Jordan (Thomas), Johwana Jones (Calvin), Nikki Dewberry, and Lucretia Dewberry; treasured God-mother, Connie Allen; close confidant and sister, Inez Cole; special aunties, Stephene Ross and Lisa Brown; beloved pet, Paco; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends whom were blessed to know her. She was proceeded in death by her late brother William Dwight Dewberry; and special long-life devoted family friend the beloved, Joanne Coles, who cared for Johnnell and John after the passing of their mother when Johnnell was 7 years old. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, August 2, 2019 in the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505 with Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Repass will held at 2:00 p.m. at All Nations Bible Fellowship (Pastor Jimmy Mann, Sr.), 3805 Kings Hwy, Dayton, Ohio 45406. The church will be open for all food donations to the family.
